Many people have allergies to scents. Please be
considerate of your room-mates, class-mates and teachers by not using perfumes,

experience the best and appreciate your thoughtfulness and cooperation. Thanks!

just 5 minutes from the hotel. There is a hotel shuttle available to take
guests there for class. However, you must
first pick up your registration packet at the Quilting in the Desert
registration desk at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel.
The classes are priced individually so that you can take only one
class, or however many you would like to take.
Come for one day and take only one class or come for two days, three
days or
the whole week and take a class each day.
There are lots of options.
All kit fees (as stated in the registration form) will be paid to
the teachers. Some teachers will offer an optional kit along with their supply
list and this also is paid to the teachers. Please do not send the fee to us.
Sewing machines will be available for a small rental fee by The
Bernina Connection, 602-553-8350. If you do plan on using your own machine,
don't forget an extension cord that is a surge protector. If you are working
with a borrowed machine, please try a trial run at home before coming to class.
Try to have a few extra bobbins wound and know how to wind more. We believe the
light in the classrooms to be good but, if you need additional brightness,
please bring along a clip light. You might also want to have a luggage carrier
to carry your machine and the bundles, baskets, bags, etc., of stuff!!! The
classrooms will be locked at night so you may leave your things in the rooms.
Camp Supply Store: There will be an on-site Camp Supply
Store. They will be able to assist you with your emergency needs and not so
emergency needs. Check at the registration table for the daily hours. There will
be a few extra T-shirts and
sweat-shirts available at the Registration Table but, to insure having your own
waiting for you, be sure to order ahead! There always is someone who is
disappointed...don't let it be you!
Food: There are numerous shops and restaurants that are
readily accessible from the hotel. The hotel also
has dining facilities.
If you have any questions about anything...please, do not
hesitate to contact us.
