#708 Native
American Scholarship Fund
We in Arizona are proud of our state's Native
American heritage. Each year, Quilt Camp in the Pines and Quilting
in the Desert are proud to host quilters from the Native American
Community. The quilters like to come to Quilt Camp but it is
difficult for them to arrange transportation from their remote mesas,
find places to stay in Flagstaff and perhaps arrange for childcare while
they are gone. In the past, generous quiltmakers have donated
small quilts for a Silent Auction to raise additional money. This
Auction is held at Quilt Camp in the Pines in Flagstaff. If you
would like to donate a small quilt (up to 36" square), please bring your
quilt to the Registration Desk when you check in to Quilting in the
Desert or feel free to send it to the Quilt Camp address in Sedona.
If you prefer to make a cash donation, please make checks payable to the
Native American Scholarship Fund and mail it to Quilt Camp in the Pines
address in Sedona. You are also welcome to add an amount to your
total registration fees in the space provided.
Quilters helping quilters is what it's all about. Thanks!
